I love AriZona Beverage Co and everything they make, and their Rx Energy beverage is no exception. AriZona’s Rx Energy isn’t like other energy drinks though, because the Herbal Tonic doesn’t contain carbonated water (or any carbonation for that matter) or artificial ingredients. This drink is made of: Green Tea, Mango (which gives this drink an amazing flavor), Pear and Lemon Juice, and Honey, so there’s no nasty aftertaste or weird chemical tastes in it like those low end, generic, energy drinks have. After drinking this stuff, I felt the effects of it right away. I became more alert, and was no longer tired. I became disappointed when I ran out of it, because the mango taste is absolutely amazing, and the fact that I cannot drink anymore of this until I go buy more upsets me. What makes this drink so great and interesting is the fact that it contains AriZona’s premium brewed green tea, which is found in their other products, giving Rx Energy a very distinct taste. Rx Energy comes in a 24 oz can, or in a 20 oz glass bottle (picture here) for .99 or 1.99, respectively. Buying the can is a much better deal, but the bottle is great if you are out and need to put it aside for a bit, which I would never do because I can’t not (hooray for double negatives) drink it. Herbal Tonic also contains Caffeine, Panax Ginseng and Siberian Ginseng, and Guarana, giving it the properties of an energy drink, which is why it’s labeled as a Tea and Energy Drink. I don’t know how much caffeine is in this, but I emailed AriZona earlier asking for the answer, so I’ll update this when they reply. A 24oz can of AriZona Rx Energy Herbal Tonic contains 90mg of caffeine (30mg per 8oz), which isn’t as much as some drinks, so it’s perfect for people that can’t handle too much caffeine that still want an energy boost. Arizona Rx Energy Herbal Tonic is absolutely amazing, it’s cheap, great tasting, natural, and delivers a good kick. This drink is something that everyone should try.

After waiting for an email response I called them and left a message for them requesting the caffeine content (the automated phone service told be caffeine for green tea, but not the Herbal Tonic) but they have not yet responded to me. They responded today. 30mg of caffeine per 8 fl oz. So a 24 oz can has 90mg of caffeine in it.

dan: I get the cans at my local BP, they seem to be more common at gas stations, but stores like CVS and Walgreens have them too sometimes.
Nectar of the gods…I usually use this as a water replacement throughout the day. Dilute one can with 2-3 cans worth of water. $1 for 3 quarts of go(o)dness…only problem is, very few places around here (bay area) stock this stuff.
If I could get a case of this w/o paying double for shipping, please tell me how…
I love this energy drink , I’ve been drinking this everyday for more than a year and I got realize that I haven’t get sick with the flu in the same period of time…coincidence? Excellent drink ..low in caffeine, good flavor, no chemicals or artificial ingredients, etc and very cheap !!!

i am a regular drinker of arizona rx energy. The bottle tastes better than the can for some reason, maybe that is why is more expensive. Exellent drink i love it. God bless who made it. DAN from CLEVELAND OHIO

The gas station closest to my house stocks these, and I.got all my friends to love these we often go to the gas station, and buy 5 or 6 of these. Got one sitting next to me right now. Last week, I went to that gas station and bought a palette of them… 24 cans of amazing!
I just had my first can the other day, and LOVED IT, So I went looking for it today… I got 4 cans… 99cents each. I working a full time and part time job and going to school full time. I hope this is good energy boost that I need.
awesome flavor and aroma, but absolutely no kick, the concentration of guarana is very low, the caffeine is ok but for regulars caffeine drinkers it will not deliver any kick, for regular caffeine drinkers the kick will come mostly for taurine and guarana (plus de b-complex and some proteins in some drinks)…so if u´re a regular…drink this only for it awesome flavor, which has no contender in the energy drink industry.
Most CvS stores sell it or if you can get onto a military post they also may carry it. I love this drink and in pass times, went nuts when I’d lose sight of it, its happened two=three times quit irritating haha

Arizona really got it right with this one. In today’s energy drink/shot crazed society I am surprised more people aren’t aware of this drink, but then again that would just make it more difficult to find, so shhhhhh.
No, its not a contender as an energy drink. That’s why I love it so much. It gives me energy instead of jitters
The best thing about this drink is that it gives you the energy boost without taurine. Was looking for an energy drink to keep me from feeling drousy while instructing during the day. RX is the perfect drink. It doesn’t have you wired like the typical energy shot. The energy boost is suttle but constant lasting over an hour. In uptown Manhattan local convenient stores always have a supply. Bring lunch to work everyday and spend $1 a day for the RX.
I used to love the Arizona green tea until I found this treasure. Still had a bit of sugar but at least its about 1/2 of a soda. Some artificial generic sodas can reach over 50g/12oz can. Rx energy is da bomb cuz its cheap, natural, and had a calming kick.

I love everything arizona. I drink probably 5 a day at least. I just found the herbal tonic rx at the gas station the other day and was so excited to try something new that would also give me energy. I cracked it open and was really suprised that it tasted as good as it did. It had a great flavor to it, just like their other teas. I don’t like drinking energy drinks because they make me jittery, coffee too. But this seemed like the perfect amount so that I’m awake and alert (AND no crash later!) It’s the perfect pick-me-up and for 99 cents you really can’t beat it!
