I got this at the same time I got the Chinese RedBull. It’s not caffeinated, but I figured that because Ginseng is supposed to give you energy and because it’s found in so many energy drinks, it deserves a spot on CaffeineGuru. I’m not sure what made me buy this, maybe the curiosity or the ginseng root in the bottle. Either way, this stuff isn’t all that great tasting. It’s watery, with a hint of honey and fairly disgusting. I assume the bitter/disgusting taste is from the root. As for it giving me energy, I didn’t really feel that different after I drank it, although I did feel some regret for drinking the whole thing. I’m also not sure whether this stuff is popular anywhere outside of the U.S or if it’s just some generic company trying to pass this stuff off as consumable. Unless you like gagging after drinking your energy drinks, this product probably isn’t for you.

This product is specially for which purpose “Korean Ginseng Drink with Honey”?
Best Regards,
Azhar.
I like the taste, don’t know why people say its gross.
this drink is damn disgusting… like watery and tastes something like honey ….
It’s definitely meant to be drank more like a wine. Not in huge gulps, but in a serious of small, oxygenated sips. It enhances the mild flavor.
This product contains sodium benzoate, a type of salt that may occur naturally in some foods but is more likely to be chemically produced and added as a preservative to foods. This works very well at killing bacteria which , and may also explain the bitter taste of the drink. In addition to the Korean Ginseng Root and honey, distilled water is the only other ingredient.
I recently purchased the product, which too was probably more so for the curiosity or the ginseng root in the bottle. However, I’ve chosen not to drink the product since I believe there to be no real beneficial factors to drinking it other than to quench ones thirst. I’ll just keep it as one of my interesting purchased products, which makes for an interesting topic of conversation at dinner parties and other home gatherings.
